This is the second year that I’ve made pumpkin slime with my little girl. She loves it! I also made it for our Fall Fest a few years ago when I was working at a daycare for medically fragile children. Some of them jumped right in with double fists while others were perfectly happy to let their peers have all the slimy fun! I got the recipe from littlehandforlittlebins.com and it has come out perfectly each time. You will need water, clear Elmer’s glue , liquid starch (found on the laundry detergent aisle) and your pumpkin guts. It’s certainly a funky texture for children working on tolerating a variety of textures. We made a game out of finding and picking out all of seeds, counting them, comparing sizes, etc. I haven’t tried it yet, but you may even be able to transfer them using tweezers for more fine motor fun!
I would love to know what your friends think of this slimy adventure!
I certainly hope they enjoy it as much as my daughter!! XO
